Remove the strap lock from your instrument on the lower part of the guitar, if present (we recommend this location for the endpin installation). (See Photos 1-2)
-
Drill a hole with a diameter of 12 mm / 15/32 inch. (See Photos 3-5)
-
Secure the endpin exactly as shown in the photo, using a nut and a locknut (after adjusting the length of the endpin).
The bolt (strap holder) must be installed flush with the built-in part of the endpin — not higher and not lower, otherwise the contacts will not work or will function incorrectly, and the microphone will not sound properly.
The jack will not insert correctly into the endpin, and the contacts will have poor connection.
(See Photos 6, 6a, 6b) — make sure to do it the correct way. -
Choose the direction for a left-handed or right-handed guitar at the pickup and secure the cable in the appropriate location (right-handed by default). (See Photo 10)
-
If necessary, secure the cable inside the guitar with adhesive tape. (See Photo 9)
-
Loosen the pickup mounting screws slightly with a + screwdriver. (See Photo 7)
-
Place the pickup into the resonator hole and tighten the screws.
-
Connect the stereo jack to the socket in the guitar.
-
Connect the XLR plug to the microphone input of your combo, mixer, audio interface, etc.
-
Turn on Phantom Power (12-48V) if it is not enabled by default. (See Photo 8)
